Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16th, 1958) is an American actress. The 1980s saw her begin her acting career and gained notoriety as Siobhan Ryan's character on the daily soap opera Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. She graduated in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in art and history from Columbia University. In 2017, she joined the talk show on daytime The View where she co-hosted until 2021. She was awarded Four Daytime Emmy award nominations for her work. McCain has also become a Daily Mail journalist after her three-year stint in The View.
